Feel Good This November: My Pamper Evening Essentials
What
would a feel good November be without a good old pamper evening? I
love pampering sessions, it's the perfect 'me time' to relax after a
long day of work. There are some unmissable steps in every pampering
routine, and I love trying out new products all the time to see which
scents, which formulas I like best. In this post, let me share with
you my favourite essential products of the moment!
~
Shower Gel: Cottage, Strawberry and Mint: I
very rarely use the same shower gel twice, because there are so many
on the market and it's not a product that I put of lot of thought on.
However I do care about the scents of my shower gels. This one was
given to me as a birthday gift and the strawberry and mint smell is
amazing! I don't know if the brand Cottage is available in other
countries, but if you get the chance and see these in the shops, just
have a sniff! There are many different scents, and I can tell you
they are all wonderful.
~
Shampoo: Dove, Advanced Hair Series, Pure Care Sublime Oil: first
off, let me tell you about the smell of this shampoo. It. is.
incredible! I've never had any shampoo that smelt so good before. If
they made this scent in perfume form, I'd totally wear it. This range
is fairly new I think, I'd never seen it before and people don't seem
to talk about it too much. But it is a really good shampoo, that
makes your hair very soft and shiny. Great value for money!
~
Bath: Lush Bath Bombs (here, the IntergalacticBath
Bomb): I've put one bath bomb in the photo, but
actually Lush bath bombs in general are my ultimate bath essential. I
haven't tried this one yet and it's the last one I have, but it
smells super minty and will look lovely in the water I'm sure! My
favourite Lush bath bomb is the Twilight one. Pop a bath bomb in your
bath, add some bubbles and you're ready to go for the most relaxing
moment ever!
~
Face mask : Lush, Love Lettuce: this is my favourite fresh
mask from Lush, from all those I've tried. I've already reviewed it
on the blog; so I won't repeat myself but this mask is exfoliating,
brightening, mattifying and refreshing. It makes your skin look
amazing, and the lavender scent is really relaxing.
~
Nails: Maybelline Dr Rescue All in One//Barry M, Gelly Hi-Shine nail
polish in Chilli: some people hate doing their nails, but I
really enjoy the whole process (when the nail polish doesn't take too
long to dry, otherwise it gets annoying!). The Barry M nail polish in
Chilli is a beautiful brick red that's perfect for autumn. At the
moment my base coat is this Maybelline Dr Rescue, which is quite good
and cheap. As a top coat, it makes your nail wonderfully shiny!
~
Scent: Ted Baker Body Spray: I couldn't find the exact name
of this body spray as Ted Baker has a few different scents out, but
remember the cute little packaging of this one and go smell it i
Boots! I can't describe it properly, but it is very feminine,
and quite 'grown up' without being too musky and loud. As it's just a
body spray it doesn't stay on for hours and hours, but it is a nice
one to spray as you get out of the shower to feel fancy!
What are your favourite products to use during pamper evenings? What is your favourite step to do?

I haven't heard of many of these products but you describe them so well. The strawberry and mint shower gel sounds really refreshing and I have to agree, painting nails can be so much fun; I used to find it a boring chore but now I like to take my time and do a proper manicure :)
ReplyDeleteLovely post xxx
I'm happy I helped you discover new products you hadn't heard of before! Painting your nails can be a sort of therapy I think haha, especially when you choose the shade carefully and do some nail art from time to time! xx
DeleteA pamper night isn't the same without Lush!

This should be a beauty blogger's motto! xx
DeleteMy favourite part of pampering myself is the bath. I don't take baths very often, so doing it becomes a super nice and important step in the pampering process. I also really like to do my nails, and that nail polish looks so nice, beautiful colour.
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
Mona
Yes baths are so relaxing and enjoyable, even more so when you don't have them very frequently! Thanks Mona :) xx
DeleteI think the lush bath bomb would be the best thing on here for me! It sounds incredible xx

I haven't tried it yet even though I wrote this post a few weeks ago, but I'd still recommend it anyway because, let's be honest, we all know it has to be awesome! xx
DeleteThe Lush bath bomb looks divine. I've only ever used one and it was so calming just to watch it fizz away and they all smell amazing too.

That's true, even just watching them is relaxing in itself! You should try out more, the Christmas ones seem amazing for example! xx
DeleteThe Lush bath bomb looks so gorgeous, also everything is a great pick! Every time I see a post with this in, it makes me wish I'd purchased it by now.

Lush always finds its way to our heart it seems! Whenever I see bath bombs featured in other people's posts I also want to buy them immediately :P xx
DeleteI love LUSH bath bombs for a pamper evening. My favorite is "The Comforter". The face mask you mentioned I never tried, I only ever get the "Cosmetic Warrior" which is very nice, but stinks incredibly, so I wouldn't use it for a pamper evening.

The Comforter is so nice, and smells really good! I've never tried Cosmetic Warrior but I know it smells of garlic, I guess it's not too relaxing haha but it must work wonders! xx
DeleteFace masks are my favourite part. You just sit back, relax, and let the product do it's work! I haven't tried the LUSH Love Lettuce but I think I have to now, it's sounds awesome. My favourite LUSH mask is Cupcake.
