♥ Baby It's Cold Outside... ♥

Hello people!

I don't know where y'all live, but at the moment in England the weather has been really windy, although the sun is shining. So it makes taking photos for outfit posts quite difficult - it would probably take me an hour to get at least three pictures of me without my hair all over my face. So I've decided to take some photos in my small uni room, because I really like this cosy outfit and wanted to share it with you.
I hope you don't mind the unprofessional (and not that pretty, I must admit) background, and that you can appreciate the outfit anyways! I'm wearing a big jumper dress that my mother gave me, and it is the softest thing ever. When the temperatures are low, you just want to wear warm and comfy clothes: this is what my outfit is all about! I like that the lace at the bottom gives it a more put together look.
What is your to-go outfit for cold days? :)

♥ Visiting England: Cambridge ♥

I love travelling so much. We discover so many things by going to new places, we learn about buildings, history, traditions, people... about pretty much everything.
As I'm in England until June, I want to see as many places as possible, and I'll post sort of photo diaries of my day trips on the blog. I've already visited a few cities, and I keep the photos for some future posts. But last week (on Valentine's Day, although it wasn't a romantic escapade at all!) I went to Cambridge, and I wanted to share my photos with you.

Cambridge is such a beautiful city that it's hard to capture its essence in simple pictures... especially that the sky was grey, and makes the buildings look quite dull - when they truly aren't. Old cities are my favourite, and I never get tired of looking at buildings of the past centuries. We've walked around in the streets, and paid special attention to the colleges. I hope the people who go to the University know how lucky they are!
Oh, and there is this old competition between Cambridge and "The Other Place"... mmh, will I be killed if I say that, now that I've seen the two, I still prefer Oxford? *shots fired ;)*

Have you ever been to Cambridge?

How cute is this café decoration?

♥ Review: Goodies A Go-Go Kit by Benefit ♥

Hello there,

Today's post in a review of a Benefit kit, the Goodies A Go-Go. Benefit kits are so interesting because you can try several products from the brand in sample size for a lesser price than if you buy them all on full size.
The Goodies A Go-Go kit is focused on the eyes. Inside, you get four eyeshadows, the eyeshadow and concealer base Stay Don't Stray in sample size and the They're Real mascara in sample size as well.

The eyeshadows are not the most pigmented ever, but I think it's because they're meant to look very subtle and natural. They are perfect for everyday makeup, when you don't want to bother too much. The Stay Don't Stray really helps the eyeshadows to stay on all day, however it is the light to medium shade so it is slightly lighter than my skin.
And of course the They're Real is amazing. It is the one product that I could recommend to everybody, and I'm glad it is in this kit. The sample size lasts me for months so it's totally worth it!

I've tried out two different makeups with the kit, the photos are just below. It's all very natural and light, but I like this kind of look :)

~ Look n°1 ~

Face: BB Cream, Clinique | Stay Matte powder, Rimmel | H&M blusher, shade "Sweet Rose"
Eyes: Stay Don't Stray eyeshadow base | Call My Buff & Thanks A Latte eyeshadows |  High Beam Highlighter, Benefit | L'Oréal Super Liner | They're Real mascara
Lips: Glossy Stylo n°804 , Kiko

~ Look n°2 ~

Face: CC Cream, Clinique | Stay Matte powder, Rimmel | H&M blusher, shade "Sweet Rose"
Eyes: Stay Don't Stray eyeshadow base | Call My Buff, Gilt-y Pleasure & Kiss Me, I'm Tipsy eyeshadows | L'Oréal Super Liner | They're Real mascara
Lips: Dark Side, Mac

Have you ever tried one of these products? I would definitely recommend the eyeshadows, it's the first time that I've tried Benefit eyeshadows and they're great. Makes me want to buy some more!
I do hope you liked this post, and I'll see you again very soon ;)

♥ The Manicure Moment: Soft Gold ♥

Hi there!

I'm back with the first of my "Manicure Moment" post. Under this title, I will post all my nail polish related things. I love nail polish, and I want to share my favourite manicures with you ;)

This first one is a very neutral and light manicure. I didn't feel like wearing bold colours on my nails this week, so I came up with a pretty cool association: the Don't Touch My Tutu by OPI and the Stay Golden by H&M.
I've applied two coats of the Don't Touch My Tutu (which is a small one from the New York City Ballet kit, so it's empty now) and on top of it I've added the Stay Golden. Because glitter is always the way to go!
What do you think about the manicure? Leave me your thoughts at the end of the post!
