The BEST Natural Hair Product Combo?

by - May 24, 2017

Natural products with good results and a good price. What else?

It seems like my best finds in Boots are always unexpected! I picked up this shampoo and conditioner combo from Kind Natured without having heard of the brand before, and they are product I'm now recommending to everybody I know. They combine a natural formula, a pleasant, light scent, and immediate results.

Having curly and dry hair, I am used to struggling with knots when I wash my hair. It usually takes ages to detangle it, and a lot of hair is lost in the process... But the first time I ever used this shampoo and conditioner, I was so impressed! The shampoo on its own detangled my hair and left it silky and soft. Using the conditioner on top of it has made it even softer and clean. When I can tell a difference after the first use, it generally means that the product is a good one.
You can tell that the shampoo is different from your usual drugstore shampoo - there's almost no foam, but the cleaning action is still there. Focus on the roots, which need more cleaning, and don't worry if it doesn't foam as you're used to. As for the conditioner, you only need a tiny amount to run through your hair.

These two products give so much moisture to the hair, and leave it super soft when it dries. The range has different products depending on your hair type, so do go and have a look in your local Boots. These products might make you want to go for natural more often - at least that's what it's done to me!

Kind Natured, Love Curls Soothing Shampoo and Conditioner, £4.99 in Boots.

Do you use natural hair products? What are your recommendations?

Lots of love,

  1. I don't specifically use natural hair products, so no recommendations from me. But I can imagine when you have dry hair and curls, brushing them through after washing can be quite a task.

    1. Natural products don't work well with everybody, especially when you first try them out. Oh yes curly hair is a nightmare to brush out, so I do it straight after conditioning, when it's still completely wet! xx

  3. Sometimes the less expensive things work so much more amazingly than the really expensive big brand products! I wish we had Boots & Watsons here, where I am :(

    1. Exactly, more often than not expensive product aren't actually that impressive in terms of results! Boots is great, they deliver in most places but the shipping must be super expensive though :( xx

  4. I experienced hair loss last week maybe because of the amount of shampoo I put on or maybe just because of the product I use. I'm thinking of switching to other brands. I want to try this. Do they ship worldwide?

    1. It might also be stress or something like that! Yes they do ship worldwide so you could try via the website, or check if Amazon or Ebay sells the brand, they may do! xx

  5. I tend to use foam as a gauge for how much I'm cleaning my hair, and so these natural products sound like game-changers on that front, and a great alternative way of washing your hair! :)

    1. I do that a lot too, and end up using so much product when it's not even needed! Natural shampoos are indeed always good to try, not all hair types get along well with them but it's worth trying out! xx

  6. Those look fabulous! I actually just use Tresemme shampoo and conditioner for my hair (my hair is pretty low maintenance). I'm thinking of going to LUSH for their natural shampoo and conditioners though.

    1. Tresemme is a good brand to use, especially if you're lucky enough to have naturally well-behaved hair! The solid shampoos from Lush are a pain to use so I wouldn't recommend them haha, but I'm sure the liquid ones are great! xx
