The Manicure Moment: Last Summer Vibes With BornPrettyStore Nail Polishes
While everybody is already talking about how excited they are for autumn and for the colder months, I am still very much in the summer mood. I went on holiday to Sicily on the first of September (and consequently I missed the train back to Hogwarts, damn!) and I really wanted to share with you the manicure I wore for that occasion.
BornPrettyStore recently sent me some awesome nail water decals with really fun designs, which I selected myself. I just had to get the holiday set, full of cute stickers in the shape of flowers, flip flops, flamingos and bikinis. They are super easy to use, just cut out the sticker that you want, dip it into cold water for ten seconds then apply to the nail. Wait for it to dry, and add some top coat to secure the sticker on the nail. Easy peasy! Why spend ages doing designs with nail polishes and tools when you can just stick a cute water decal in ten seconds? Maybe I'm too lazy, but it really is the best way to create quick manicures to me!
The nail polish I used is Sugar Apple by Barry M. One of my favourite colours for the summer, especially on sunkissed skin. As for the top coat, I use the Rimmel Nail Base & Top Coat Nail Nurse, which made my nail polish last amazingly during my whole week of holidays, resisting the heat and salt water. What did I tell you - best summer manicure ever! ;)
